Our Spanish lessons in Torremolinos teach you the Spanish you use every day: at the bank, with the neighbours, at the doctor’s or over a coffee. Small groups, qualified teachers and every level from A1 to C2.

Spanish lessons for people who live here

Most of our students are British, Dutch, Polish, Finnish and other European and American residents who spend long stretches in Torremolinos, and many come from Benalmádena and Arroyo de la Miel. They come to get by, and then to get on, with the people around them.

Children from age 6 are welcome too. We are a family-run school in La Carihuela, approved by the Junta de Andalucía.

How our Spanish lessons work

We combine grammar and vocabulary with reading, listening, songs and plenty of speaking. Groups have 5 to 15 students, by age and level, so there is time to speak in every lesson.

Levels A1 to C2 and how to get started

Our Spanish courses run from A1 to C2 and you can join at any point in the year. Complete beginner? Drop us a line and we will tell you when the next beginners’ group starts.

Preparing for the DELE exam

Need an official Spanish certificate? We prepare students for the Instituto Cervantes DELE at every level, from A1 to C2, with mock exams and small groups. The exam itself is taken at an official centre. Find out more about our DELE exam preparation.

Spanish lessons: frequently asked questions

Can I start at any time of year?

Yes. You take a short level test, at the school or by email, and we place you in the right group.

How do I know my level?

With a short test, at the school or by email. The result tells us which group suits you, from A1 to C2.

How big are the groups?

Between 5 and 15 students, organised by age and level, so everyone moves at a similar pace and there is time to speak.

How many lessons a week should I take?

It depends on your goal: 4 a week to learn at a relaxed pace, 6 or 9 to move faster, and 15 for an intensive course.

How much do the Spanish lessons cost?

From €160 for 4 weeks with 4 lessons a week, and €540 for 4 weeks of the intensive course (15 lessons a week). The more weeks you book, the lower the price per lesson.

Do you teach Spanish to children?

Yes, from age 6, in groups by age and level. Write or call us and we will tell you which group suits their age.

I go home for a few weeks every year. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Either pause and we keep your course for up to a year (just let the office know), or carry on with us online while you are away.
