An English school for children, teenagers and adults

Idea Aladino is a family-run school in La Carihuela, open since 1993. We teach English to children from age 6, teenagers and adults, in groups of 5 to 15 students organised by age and level.

Lessons combine grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening, songs and plenty of speaking. We are next door to Benalmádena and also welcome students from Arroyo de la Miel.

How our English classes work

Every lesson mixes grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening and songs, with plenty of time to speak. Groups have 5 to 15 students, by age and level, so nobody gets left behind.

English classes: Frequently asked questions

How old do children need to be?

From age 6. Groups are set by age and level: primary and secondary pupils, university students and adults.

How many students are there per class?

Between 5 and 15, organised by age and level, so there is time to practise speaking in every lesson.

Can I join in the middle of the year?

Yes, at any time of year. You take a short level test, at the school or by email, and we place you in the right group.

Do you prepare for Cambridge exams?

Yes: B1 Preliminary, B2 First and C1 Advanced. We are not an exam centre: the exam is taken at an official centre.

How much do the English classes cost?

From €80 for 4 weeks with 2 hours a week. If you book 12 weeks at once, the price per week drops: €192 with 2 hours and €384 with 4 lessons a week.

Do you offer school support in English?

Yes, for primary and secondary pupils, in a small group or with one-to-one lessons, depending on what each student needs.

What if I miss a few weeks?

You can pause whenever you need to: we keep your course for up to a year so you can pick up where you left off.
