Our French classes bring together children discovering the language, students who want to do well at school and adults learning for travel, work or pleasure. Groups have 5 to 15 students, set by age and level.

We are in La Carihuela, next door to Benalmádena, and we also welcome students from Arroyo de la Miel. Idea Aladino has been a family-run school since 1993, approved by the Junta de Andalucía.

How our French classes work

You work on grammar, vocabulary, reading and conversation with listening exercises and songs, guided by qualified teachers who speak three languages. Groups have 5 to 15 students, by age and level, so everyone gets time to speak.

Levels A1 to C2 and how to get started

We teach every level of the European framework, from A1 to C2, and you can join at any point in the year. Starting from scratch? Drop us a line and we will tell you when the next beginners’ group begins.

French classes: frequently asked questions

How old do children need to be?

From age 6. Groups are set by age and level: primary and secondary pupils, university students and adults.

Can I join without knowing any French?

Yes. A short level test shows where you are and, if you are starting from scratch, we will tell you when the next beginners’ group begins.

Do you prepare for the DELF?

Yes, we prepare students for the DELF at levels A1 to B2, as part of our French classes. The level test shows which level suits you.

How many students are there per class?

Between 5 and 15, organised by age and level, so there is time to practise speaking in every lesson.

How much do the French classes cost?

From €80 for 4 weeks with 2 hours a week. If you book 12 weeks at once, the price per week drops: €192 with 2 hours and €384 with 4 lessons a week.

Do you offer school support in French?

Yes, for primary and secondary pupils, in a small group or with one-to-one lessons, depending on what each student needs.

What if I miss a few weeks?

You can pause whenever you need to: we keep your course for up to a year so you can pick up where you left off.
